Delicious Warm Figs With Honey & Greek Yogurt Recipe

INGREDIENTS: 1/2 c. chopped raw walnuts 1 c. honey 2 Tbsp. finely grated orange zest, divided 12 fresh figs, halved from top to bottom 1/2 c. plain full-fat Greek yogurt

Step 1: Toast walnuts in a skillet over medium heat, stirring regularly, until toasted and fragrant (2-3 minutes). Transfer to a small bowl.

DIRECTIONS:

Step 2: Spread yogurt on the bottom of four dessert plates or small bowls.

Step 3: Cook honey and 1 tablespoon zest in the same skillet over medium-low heat, stirring until aromatic and runny (approximately 2 minutes). Season with a pinch of salt. 

Step 4: Add figs to skillet and coat with honey. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring periodically, until the figs are softened.

Step 5: Serve figs and honey sauce over yogurt. Top with walnuts and the remaining 1 tablespoon zest.
