Copycat Starbucks Pink Drink Recipe

The end product was a creamy, vibrant pink drink that went viral on social media and was added to Starbucks' menu less than a year later. Five years later, the buzz is still going strong.

It's very simple to prepare the Pink Drink at home if you want to break free from your pricey Starbucks habit. With just a few ingredients, you can make this popular drink again, and you can even change the ratios to suit your tastes.

INGREDIENTS FOR PEACH SIMPLE SYRUP: 2 bags hibiscus-based tea (preferably TAZO Passion) 2 fresh strawberries, sliced 1 c. white grape juice 1/2 c. light coconut milk 1 Tbsp. simple syrup Ice

Step 1: Heat 1/2 cup water in a kettle or small pot until it boils. Transfer to an airtight receptacle, insert tea bags, and let steep for ten minutes. Throw away the bags. After about 15 minutes, remove the tea from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.

DIRECTIONS:

Step 2: Tea, strawberries, grape juice, milk, and simple syrup should all be combined in a cocktail shaker. Add ice to the shaker, cover it, and shake briskly for about 30 seconds, or until the exterior of the shaker is completely frozen. After pouring into a cup, serve.
